We did eventually shovel the driveway, after which it snowed some more. Now we are staying inside. Maybe until March.

I'm glad you are enjoying it. But you must all be so tired of winter. Heck, I'm tired of winter and I live in Louisiana.

We had temps in the teens yesterday, a veritable heat-wave, so Emma and a friend spent time making tracks and butt-marks all over the yard. We have huge piles of snow next to the driveway from plowing the drive, and they tunneled under and slid down. It was nice that it was warm enough to be outside in it, although I'd prefer 20s or 30s! We have about 2 feet on the ground --I think that's enough snow for one winter.
I haven't been sledding since I moved to Iowa. This feels wrong somehow, but it's hard to care when I'm so sick of winter. I'll just look at your pics of fun-sledding-times and call it good enough.
Having seen a photo of the Crisler front sidewalk, I'm guessing that it is not possible to go sledding in Iowa due to excessive flatness.
Cassi - I had to laugh at the activity of "making butt-marks"! We don't have anywhere near 2 feet of snow on the ground.
I think everybody has had enough snow & cold for this winter, even in Louisiana.
Not enough snow this year in Spokane, WA! But I am certifiably weird in my opinion.
