Found Around the House

Guess which of these things I am going to take responsibility for?

Coffee cake, hidden on the dining room chair?
No.

Socks, in family room in front of sofa?
No.

Socks, in family room beside sofa?
No.

Socks, by front door?
No.

Sock, in living room, next to music stand?
No.
(The item to the left is a mellophone named Cervantes.  I am not taking responsibility for that, either.)

Two limp primroses, and one approaching limpidity.
Okay, I will take responsibility for these.  Just today.
It would be better if I could plant them outside.  I don't know if they would survive out there, but they're not doing too well in here.

Yeah, I think you can plant primroses outside. A little later in the spring. Do you think they'll live that long?

Looks like it's time to start bagging socks. Then, when their owners start to wonder why they have no clean socks, you can let them go through the bag, and put their socks in the laundry. The bag should be good and smelly by them.

Some primroses are hardy to zone 3, but not all. I think Angie asks a good question :-)

I blame you for the sad-looking plants, but you cannot control the weather.
My kids are the same kind of slobs and it makes me NUTS. If you discover how to make them stop, let me know!

All my primroses are blooming outside!!! I say plant them - hasn't the weather been great where you are (don't know where that is!)??

We have the sock problem here, as well. Unfortunately, I'm too anal to just leave them.

It helps me just knowing that my household is not the only one with sock litter.

I like the idea of putting the socks in a bag, Cassi. Or maybe I will plant the socks. But not right next to the primroses. The socks could finish off those weak-kneed, mistreated primroses.
