A miracle occurred this morning: Youngest Daughter got
herself up for school on time!
Meanwhile, I overslept and didn’t get out of bed until
7:20. Maybe it’s because I face a big
to-do list today. My singularly
uninteresting and suburban-housewifely list is below, for those of you who love
reading lists. It’s now 11:00 AM and I
have gotten the groceries, made the appointment for the car, and started the
laundry. But it looks like there needs
to be another miracle for any more of my list to get done. (Notice how ‘write a blog post’ was not on my
list.) I think I ought to add 'Be grateful for small miracles' to my list.
What’s on your list for today?
Doctor’s appt (annual checkup) at 2 pm –
check address
Call Mom – discuss dates for family
conference regarding Dad’s medical treatment
Call Aunt – help her find someone to go to her
basement and sort stuff

Wash sheets
Assemble and send care pkg to Oldest Daughter
at college
RSVP for Saturday’s soup social
Scout Shabbat on Friday – what time?

Next Christians for book discussion
Make dinner
Fill out and send Merit Badge Counselor
registration form

viable dates for recital

Send refund checks for those who didn’t make
it to the retreat
Call retreat center to reserve 2013 date

for photos

Well, but. That is a month-long to-do list, right? I'm not even sure my monthly to-do list is that long.
Also, are "laundry" and "wash sheets" different things? :-)
My head spins while reading that list. I hope you have a lot of coffee in your pot.
Well here's a little bit of good news. My clock says 10:45! Check your clock - it may be running fast.
That's quite a list, CHM. I went to Bible study this morning. Now trying to get motivated to be productive this afternoon. Maybe I should make a list.
Are you sure that isn't a list for the next 2 or 3 weeks?
I've lived in our new town for 6 months now, so I suppose "find a piano teacher" should get moved up on my to-do list.
Thanks for stopping by and adding your prayers!
I hope you typed your list rather than writing it out in long hand. It's so much easier to procrastinate if it's electronic. Spoken from experience.
