Today the Common Household Son turned 16 years old. We spent a portion of the morning getting his learner’s permit. For the next 6 months I will be gritting my teeth while trying to appear calm.
It seemed appropriate for this birthday to give him this cute little steering wheel and driving practice game for a birthday present. He is very happy with this gift, but I do not think it will contribute to good driving skills.
I'm right there with you, sister. Eric and Andrew are both currently learning to drive. When will CHS take drivers' ed? My boys did it over Christmas break last year.
We didn't sign him up for the classroom lessons. We still have to find the time sometime to squeeze in the behind-the-wheel lessons with the driving school. This summer is so ridiculously busy that it might not happen.

The driving school my boys attended included both classroom and on the road.
Yeah, the Mario Bros. Driving School won't cut it out there in the real world;)
