I've got things to write about, but little time to write. It seems appropriate tonight, though, to have a visit from the Spring Fairy. We've been told to expect a dumping of snow, but so far, we got nuthin. Hopes of a two-hour delay by tomorrow morning are fading. In the words of my mother (and every mother), "We'll see."
For the Jewish holiday Purim, which was last week, it is customary to dress up as a character from the Purim Story (that's Esther, Mordecai, and Haman, y'all) or, if they don't inspire you, somebody else famous or silly or fun. This year Youngest Daughter entered the spirit of the holiday, and decided to dress up as The Spring Fairy. Here she is last week, finding some daffodils pushing through the soil.

We are not that far along toward spring here. And it's looking unlikely that we'll progress much this month. We have a nice, new, 7 inches of snow outside this morning, and drifts you could lose a cow in.
I could use a spring fairy. Does she travel?
YAY Purim! YAY spring!
I hope you get more thaw and less flakes.
All I see are mountains of white stuff when I look out my window. I'm irrationally jealous of your daffodil shoots, but charmed by the sight of your Spring Fairy.
