Blue is such a great color in the garden.<br /><br />Here is what you need to do next: make your husband (or teens) build you raised beds where you'd like to garden. Just a few landscape timbers nailed together, then add some dirt, and while you will still get some weeds, they are much, MUCH, less. And if you're gardening on a hill, you can use more wood in the front so that your gardening space is flat. <br /><br />I wish I had a similar method to help you with the vertigo.
